Turn in Your Expired, Unused Medications Saturday, April 30

Annual Drug Disposal Logo

In an effort to address this problem, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), in conjunction with state and local law enforcement agencies throughout the country, conducted the first ever National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Sept. 25, 2010. The purpose of this event provides a place for people to dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs.

DEA has scheduled the second National Prescription Drug Take Back Day which will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30. This is a great opportunity for those who missed the first event or who have subsequently accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs, to safely dispose of them.
