 U.S. Department of Defense awards three

scleroderma research awards

 

ResearcherEarlier this week, the Department of Defense announced the awardees for the Peer-Reviewed Medical Research Program. Three scleroderma researchers have been awarded funds.


The investigators are Michael Whitfield, Dartmouth College; Elizabeth Blankenhorn, Drexel University; and Stanley Hoffman, Medical College of South Carolina.

 

The final funding amounts have not yet been announced. However, in general, investigators receive approximately $750,000 over a three-year period.
