About Us

About The Center For Progressive Christianity:

Organized religion does not have to be irrelevant, ineffectual, or repressive...We promote an approach to Christianity that is innovative, inclusive and informed.  We invite you to visit our website at www.tcpc.org for more information.

About First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan:

"The First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan is a community of Christians and others who are discovering a fresh approach to God and one another through the life and teachings of Jesus.  Part of this journey is about celebrating the faithfulness and camaraderie of those who have other names for their ways into God's realm.  As a "thinking person's church," we find more grace in the search for understanding than we do in dogmatic certainty - more value in questioning than in absolutes.  For 50 years we have sought to be an inclusive community of love and justice, a place to reconnect our spirits without disconnecting our minds, with a desire to transform the world."
