Pedal PGH offers a ride for everyone! It's simple:
You choose a route:
Car Free: 1-18 miles of car-free roads and trails
City Tour: 25 miles of exploring the South Side, the Northside, and the East End
Metric Century+: 64 miles of exploring with bonus hills to the Troy Hill and Mt. Washington
On Sunday August 5, show up to the SouthSide Works, ready to ride. The ride is not a mass start. Instead, simply leave when you're ready during the suggested start times provided below.
Be sure to get back to the Finish Line Festival (11-3pm) at the SouthSide Works with enough time to celebrate and relax.
We'll have DJ Zombo providing the background music as you enjoy snacks, performances by the Rise Above BMX Team, vendors, and a Straub Beer tent. VIPs will be able to enjoy free massages as well as breakfast and lunch (VIP can be purchased at checkout).

Sunday's Pedal PGH is dedicated to Mark Schneider
Mark, a co-founder of Pedal PGH back in 1994, passed away unexpectedly last weekend doing what he loved best. He left a profound mark on Pittsburgh having been instrumental in many of our city's highest profile, and most transformative developments including Washington's Landing and Summerset at Frick Park. He served as chairman of the Sports & Exhibition Authority and the Stadium Authority, where he played a key role in the development of Heinz Field, PNC Park and the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Mark was even involved in helping develop part of Pittsburgh's wonderful trail system. Thank you, Mark, for all you did for Pittsburgh and the cycling community. You will be sorely missed.
Some fine print: It is important to note that the event will NOT be cancelled due to rain. The event will only be cancelled if there is a severe weather emergency. However, the event may be delayed or temporarily suspended due to inclement weather. No refunds will be given for delays or even an event cancellation. -BikePGH promises to put your money to good use making Pittsburgh safer for bicyclists and walkers.
