The Bicycle Film Festival celebrates the bicycle. The international festival, now in its ninth year, is traveling
to more than 30 cities, including New York, London, Paris, Sidney and
Tokyo. This year, for the first time, the festival
will be coming to
Pittsburgh on July 2-4.

Local cycling magazine, Urban Velo, along with us at BikePGH are excited to present this festival to Pittsburgh.
The heart and soul of the film festival are the short
films-contributed by filmmakers from around the world, both
professional and amateur. Additionally, two high-profile films
highlight this year's festival.
Made in Queens tells the story of New
York City youths from Trinidad who attach 15,000 watt stereo systems to
their bicycles.
Where Are You Go documents an incredible bicycle ride
across Africa-from Cairo to Cape Town.
The cost of the festival is $8 per night.
All screenings will be held at the Andy Warhol Museum, 117 Sandusky St, in the Northside. It is recommended that you purchase your tickets online, as
screenings are expected to sell out. AFTER PARTY! The After Party doubles as the release party for
Urban Velo #14, and is sponsored by
Magic Hat Brewing Brewing Company and
42BELOW. Get ready for a Bicycle Fashion Show, followed by DJs into the night. Artwork spanning the fourteen issues of Urban Velo will also decorate the walls.
All ticket holders and BikePGH Members will gain FREE admission to the after-party at the Brew House in the South Side ($5 otherwise).
