Champagne and Hors d'oeuvres Tasting

Tom Tomalka of AHD Vintners is going to be on hand to guide us through a Sparkling tasting of five different and unique selections!
Veuve Ambal Crement de Bourgogne Blanc de Blanc, Jean Louis Denois Brut Chardonnay (Limoux), Joel Falmet Brut Champagne, Barnaut Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs Brut Champagne, and Jacquesson Cuvee 733 Brut Champagne!!
 I am planning a sumptuous hors d'ouerves tasting to accompany the wines and provide you with ample sustenance!  Here is the thing, if we don't get enough reservations by Tuesday morning, I will have to cancel the event. We are halfway there, we just need 8-10 more guests. Think of it as a great way to celebrate the holidays with some friends or co-workers! We just got in the 2008 Treasure Hunter Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa, just around $22 per bottle, drinking very nicely. Also, from the Languedoc in France the 2009 Puydeval Rouge for just $15.

A final note
I have changed the date of the next
Dinner at the Market to Dec 17, a Friday night,
in order to accomodate some of our
Holiday Partiers.
Also, I am trying to book Bob Schneider and Jim Gillespie for our New Year's Eve Gala. If you are thinking of attending please let me know as soon as you can so we can place our food orders with confidence. I will elaborate on the menu in the next letter! |
