This Thursday night is our "Down Under" Wine Tasting Dinner presented by Pascale Asbury and par for the course, I didn't finish the menu until yesterday.
We are including a nod to the French with our wine line up, so we are not going to be exclusively "Down Under". I have learned that the cuisine of these countries is quite varied, taking from Europe, Asia, etc. So I thought my menu could reflect that as well.
We will start the evening with a Thibert Cremant de Bourgogne and assorted Hors d'Oeuvres.
First Course will be a warm Goat Cheese Salad with Toasted Walnuts and Local Tomatoes,
New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc will accompany.
Second Course features Blackened Ahi Tuna with Wirra Wirra Church Block Cabernet Suavignon Shiraz Blend!
Main Course is a delectable Beef Tenderloin to be served with the Wirra Wirra Woodhenge McLaren Vale Shiraz, it is fabulous! Dessert brings us back to New Zealand and France with
Pavlova, meringue, whipped cream and fresh fruit, served with a slice of Roquefort by Papillon and Sauternes. Coffee Service finishes the evening. We hope that you can join us.
Please call 231/539-7100 to reserve, the cost is $68, plus tax and gratuity. |
