Greeting Everyone!

We are still here in Pellston surviving the ongoing Winter weather, 13 inches of snow last Monday to give you an idea, in case you haven't been in town!

This picture isn't really accurate, but I thought it would give you an idea.

It's is actually great to be back in Northern Michigan after Glitzy Las Vegas.  I have been at Nub's skiing, I was invited on the Snow Train to the Agawa Canyon, I have gotten to see friends at the Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours and at Crooked Tree Arts Council's "Swirl".  I have had the chance to dine at other friends restaurants like Teddy's and The New York.  The high schools are having their plays. Esperance is opening their tapas bar tonight! There is plenty to do here in the Winter and Spring is just around the corner! Which brings me to my next subject.

Thank you all of you who wrote to comment on Walter's passing.  Your notes were so many and so kind.  I received a very sad note among those and that was from Sandy Rogers letting me know that she lost her best friend and husband, Bud, on Jan. 20.  Bud was another great customer and supporter of our market. I can't believe he's gone! Sandy sent this photo taken of him in our garden last summer. Another good person is gone.
