Last Sunday I drove down to Ann Arbor to attend a two day seminar at Zingerman's Deli. The title of the seminar was "Small Giants" and was based on a book by Bo Burlingham, editor at large for Inc. Magazine. 

 

His book asks the question "What are the characteristics and practices that create a "Small Giant", a company that chooses to be great rather than big?"

 

We discussed the book and I came away feeling revitalized as I envisioned my tiny company ten years from now!  I've got a long way to go, but just surving the past four and a half years feels like a great acheivement!  I hope that we will all still be connected and enjoying our relationshp while I try to get rooted and grow and maybe someday fill the shoes of other Small Giants!
