We are having a Pellston Penguin Sale!  If you are able to come out to Pellston, the Ice Box of the North, and bear the winter cold and snow, you will receive 20% discount on your purchases, (exclusive of our prepared foods - sandwiches, cookies, pot pies etc.).  We have a great inventory of exceptional oils, vinegars, condiments and chocolate! What's in Store?
Roquefort by CarlesI have one full wheel of the award- winning, coveted, Oregon Rogue River Blue, beautifully wrapped in Pear Brandy soaked Grape Leaves! This is my last wheel, we will have to wait until Fall for the next release. We also have half a wheel of the magnificient Roquefort by Carles! Both of these cheeses are exceptional and not easy to find, so come in, have a taste and bring some home at 20% off.
 
We also have a 50% off table featuring our white or dark chocolate covered Cosenza Figs from Calabria, and Chocolate Covered Fig Salami - luscious figs scented with Calabrian orange and dark rum, formed into a salami shape, dusted with powdered sugar and encased in string netting! Great on a cheese platter or with coffee after a meal. We have Amaretti "Wish" Cookies and Spanish Chocolate Bars with Truffle Filling and Marcona Almonds.  These wonderful items are ready for your next party.

salmon dinnerI have a wonderful meal planned for this Saturday and the dessert, Tarte Tatin, is one of my Paris best, so come and let me dazzle your palate! The following week on Friday, March 7th, we will have our Annual Fondue and Raclette Party. It will be lots of fun and perfect for Pellston Penguins! Italy in September!
Don't worry if you missed out on our Sicily trip, because we are planning to visit another fabulous food region of Italy in September. Pellston Market will host an insider's tour of Puglia where we will meet food producers, tour olive groves, enjoy fabulous cuisine, and more! Nancy will lead a one-week tour beginning in Brindisi on September 3, 2008. Details are in the works and we will post the pricing soon. Read the tentative plans.
