Italy comes to Northern Michigan with our
Celebration of Italy featuring an in-store
demo of our
new Italian products purchased on Nancy's April
buying trip to Italy. Thursday July 12, 2007 11 am
- 3 pm Gioacchino Passalacqua, olive oil
producer Marta Lisi from Piana degli Ullivi and Nancy
will demonstrate cooking techniques and offer
samples.
We are importing 4 olive oils from
producers that Nancy met with in Italy, also fine
batch-produced pastas, estate grown and milled
rices, extraodinary honey and chocolates, organically
grown and handpacked vegetable delicacies, sauces
for pasta, risottos and more!
Make your reservation now for the Gala Italian
Dinner that evening prepared by Gioacchino and
Nancy with special guest Marta Lisi. Cost is $75, plus
tax and gratuity. Seating limited, reservations required.
Our last event is Friday July 13, 11 am - a
focused olive oil tasting led by Marta Lisi of Piana degli
Ullivi. Cost is $15 per person.
