Greetings!
Red Angel Cropped

In chatting with the Angels this morning, I was reminded of the importance of self-nurturing.

Quite often, we run around giving to others, and in the process, we forget to nurture ourselves. This imbalance can lead to depletion of one's energy.

The Angelic message was a reminder to pay attention to our own needs, and know it is not selfish to care for ourselves first. It is only then that we will have filled our own energetic well allowing us to care for those around us.

Consider how it would feel if you tended to yourself at the beginning of the day to build up your reserves. You could go for a walk, or take a yoga class, or meditate, or merely take time to sit outside in the fresh air to get centered before racing into your day. Can you imagine how that would feel?

With the beginning of sunny days here in Seattle, I have begun a routine of starting my work day sitting in my backyard benchswing while I slowly sip a cup of my favorite coffee. Sometimes I am inspired to do some writing...and other times I do a little bit of inspirational reading. It nurtures my heart and soul, and it brings me so much joy.

Everyone benefits when you take care of yourself and nurture yourself. Observe how your thoughts are infused with light and optimism. Consider this a gentle nudge to become aware of where your energy is going...and remember to take time for own nurturing.

Yellow Nurture Symbol

Zibu Symbol:
"Nurture"

Zibu Name:
"Ani" (ah-nee')

Beautiful sunny Citrine amplifies the energy of this Angelic symbol, and the color Golden Yellow has the same effect. The part of the body which can be treated energetically with this symbol is the Head and Neck area.

The message from the Angels about this symbol is:

"To nurture is to give loving attention to assist in growth and expansion. Hold the essence of your being in your loving arms and nourish yourself with positive and uplifting thoughts. Delving into the negative is a destructive habit. It is not conducive to forward motion and growth. It is a much more enriching pattern to shower oneself with unconditional love and watch all aspects come together in magnificence. There is no limit to what is possible when nurturing with loving energy. Blessings from the Angels"
