NEW PRODUCTS
Spring has sprung and new products are coming through the door everyday.
One great new product on the way is the SnakeSpine Dansneaker by Capezio. The SnakeSpine is a versatile dance sneaker designed and engineered for natural responsiveness across a wide range of activity and movement. With a focus on form and function, the refined outsole technology embraces the articulation and aesthetic dancers crave and the lightweight supportive performance that work-outs demand. It is designed to support and cushion the foot with a foam padded foot bed and a "TPU" outsole which is lightweight and supportive. It's a slip on style with the ability to adjust tightness with elasticized laces which can be cut and knotted.
 Among other new products are the new Super Gellows and bodywear from Sugar and Bruno. The new Super Gellows are pointe shoe pads that improves upon the Gellows that you already know and love. Pillows for Pointe has simply added another layer of seamless cotton to the toe pad to protect the gel more and cause the dancer to sweat less. This should help your toe pads and your pointe shoes to last longer! Sugar and Bruno is a new brand for Footlights. They have a line of great dance/street wear that every funky dancer will want to own. With signature celebrity collections by the likes of Chelsie Hightower, Stacey Tookey and more, comes a unique line with everything from fun accessories to those little extras like a keep calm and dance on water bottle. You know that dream where you're standing in front of your class, your coworkers, on stage...and you're naked? I'm sorry...you know that nightmare where you're naked? It's probably one of the worst feelings to imagine and the last thing any one of us wants to see come true, but a lot of the time, merely being unprepared can make us feel just as vulnerable and embarrassed. With competitions and recitals readily upon us, if not already, now is the perfect time to get your emergency performance success kits stocked and set.
You might think it'll be easy to remember your costume and shoes, but if your pieces are strewn about the house, and you're anything like my family, rushing out the door is a frantic experience, with plenty of opportunity to forget even the biggest of details.
