You are receiving this message because you are REGISTERED for the Midwest Sociological Society Annual Meeting March 29 - April 1 in Minneapolis. THANK YOU for registering early - it helps us plan! Greetings! Our meeting is fast approaching! Thanks to all of you who have worked hard on putting together our MSS 2012 program. I hope you will take on the following "To-Do" list to make MSS2012 even more successful. Everyone bring one. Recruit at least one new person, get a colleague to return, invite someone from a kindred discipline, entice a sociological practitioner, and certainly, bring students. Trivia Night. Organize a Trivia Night table. "St. Louis style" trivia nights are fun (and challenging). Purchase your table online at the MSS registration portal. Contact Vicky Herbel with names. She can also add people to tables that are not full and create new tables. Sessions. Support your colleagues and your students. Attend a variety of sessions. Come to the plenary on globalization organized by Lauren Langman and to Irwin Deutscher's keynote on interethnic conflict and cooperation. See you all in a few weeks!
