Presented By Verizon Wireless | |  The Nueva Latina Star Award is a recognition for an up and coming Latina that has established herself as a pioneer in either of the following categories: business, community service and technology.
The nominee must:
Be a U.S. citizen or be a legal resident of Illinois, Wisconsin, or Indiana.
Have 5 or more years of professional experience in her field
Be nominated by another individual, they cannot nominate themselves, and those who are nominated must be endorsed by another individual other than the nominee
