M/WBE Program Scheduled to Sunset
The M/WBE construction program in Chicago is set to sunset at the end of this year. The City of Chicago funded a study to analyze the state of minority business as the future of the program is debated. Below you will find a link to the results of the study which included an analysis of Hispanic construction firms.
The LACC supports the continuation of the M/WBE programs. As you will see from the findings, there is much that still needs to be done in this area. We encourage you to contact your local alderman and voice your support.

How to Get Grants for Rehabilitating Your Small Business

2009 Ultimate Networking Event (UNE)
Join the LACC as we co-host with the Portage Park Chamber of Commerce and other local organizations for the Ultimate Networking Event. Last year this event attracted more than 400 local businessmen and women. In addition to this unique networking opportunity, there will be a wide variety of food, a first-class pub, representatives and literature from government agencies, and a free business card raffle.
