Greetings! 
During these challenging economic times, the LACC continues to be a resource for our members providing program and services which will enable the business community to weather the storm. One of these services is the Business Accelerator Program which kicked off last month.
The leadership of the Chamber has been very active in advocating for those issues important to small to mid-size businesses. First and foremost is promoting a healthy business environment where our businesses can grow. Most of the jobs to be created in this economy will be found in small to mid-size companies.
Our membership committee is pushing hard to get the word out on the value of being an LACC member. If you know of a business we should reach out to please let us know. I look forward to seeing you soon.

How to Get Grants for Rehabilitating Your Small Business
Are you a small business owner in the Chicago area? Is your small business in need of improvements however you cannot afford all the expenses? If the answer to these questions is yes, then join the LACC for the informative August workshop that will discuss how to benefit from the Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF).
Program participants are eligible for :
-Reimbursements up to 75% of the remodeling work
-A maximum grant of $150,000 that does not need to be repaid.
