SFPRG Fundraising Drive!
Dear Members & Friends of SFPRG;

I hope your 2011 is off to a wonderful start!

We're having a Spring Fundraising Drive at SFPRG. Our goal is to raise $15K by May 31st so that SFPRG can continue to run its low-fee psychotherapy clinic, as well as continue to provide Control Mastery training and seminars to clinicians. Our aim is to expose more clinicians and students to the original ideas of Joseph Weiss and Hal Sampson in an effort to continue the advancement of this important theory. We need your help in achieving these goals.

Your contribution of $50 to $100 will go directly towards covering essential operating costs. SFPRG's low-fee psychotherapy services are needed now more than ever. Many mental health services are being cut from the state & local budgets, and as a result several clinics in San Francisco have been forced to close their doors. SFPRG is persisting through this economic crisis and would like to be able to serve some of those being turned away by the closures.

Our Clinic currently has 11 interns who are trained to provide high quality Control Mastery psychotherapy to 110 clients each week who otherwise couldn't afford therapy. SFPRG not only provides education and training to its interns, but also offers ongoing education for practicing clinicians like you. By donating today, you are helping to ensure our continued ability to offer these important services to the community.

Control Mastery Therapy has been empirically validated and your donation gives clients the opportunity to benefit from Control Mastery's effectiveness. One client describes healing from trauma and rebuilding trust as a result of her therapy: "Working with my Control Mastery therapist for four years has completely transformed my view of men.
