Greetings!
Spring is upon us! Warm spring rains nourish the first flowers of the season. The trees are budding. The animals are getting ready to raise a new batch of young.
Spring is a time of growth and abundance in nature after the long winter sleep. For us too, it heralds a time of growth and abundance.
Too often we get caught in the artificial man made cycle of abundance or lack based on what the economy is doing, or what our bank account is looking like. We hear fearful stories in the news about the economy and we start having fearful thoughts about lack. We wonder if there's enough to go around for everyone.
Spring is nature's reminder to us that the Universe is endlessly abundant.
This month we'll talk about Abundance vs Lack. If the Universe is endlessly abundant, how do we tap into that abundance? Read our article on Abundance vs Lack; What Do You Want?
Welcome to AHC's April newsletter issue. We're glad you joined us. Read on and enjoy!

Mark Your Calendars!
Super Applied Concept Therapy Event
|
Mark your calendars for
April 19 and 20, 2008!
As part of the Bill McKeown Teaching team, Dr. Franklin will be presenting a new Super Applied Concept-Therapy Event in Chattanooga, TN.
Concept-Therapy
presents in simple, understandable language the WISDOM OF THE AGES.
The
truths regarding the great UNKNOWN POWER and the LAWS OF LIFE are not
the revelation of any one person, nor can they be attributed to any
particular age. They are the result of the hopes, the aspirations, and
the dreams of enlightened souls of all the ages.
Concept-Therapy
presents a modern approach to the wisdom which the enlightened of all
ages must have known. It merely coordinates these truths and makes them
more comprehensible. It explains the underlying PRINCIPLE from which
all philosophies, religions, and the methods of healing spring.
Concept-Therapy is, therefore, the
medium by which one may gain not only HEALTH and PEACE but WISDOM, and
with WISDOM one can live his or her life in harmony with the Divine. Watch your email for an upcoming announcement with time and location details! This Class Will Fill Up Quickly! Call Now To Reserve Your Seat!

In Memory of Cindy Alexander
|
Our dear friend Cindy left Wednesday April 2, 2008 on the date of her wedding Anniversary to her true loving partner in life, her wonderful husband, Jamie Alexander. Cindy will be missed more than any of us can say in the material, however her life and her death touched so many lives for the better that we feel compelled to honor her here. LUCINDA "Cindy" KETT ALEXANDER, 50, of Dallas, Texas, died peacefully April 2 at her home as a result of a brain tumor.
Cindy was a gifted teacher, wonderful friend and had recently become a certified reflexologist. Cindy was recruited by the New Orleans public schools upon graduation from Eastern Michigan University in 1983. She taught special education at several schools in New Orleans including Coliseum House, St. Elizabeth's, New Orleans Free School and Jefferson Davis Elementary.
She loved music and the city of New Orleans and worked at the Jazz Fest as a driver for many years. She left New Orleans in 1992 and moved to Seattle, returning annually to either work or enjoy the Jazz Fest.
She found spiritual satisfaction studying and teaching the Concept-Therapy philosophy. On April 4, 2004, she married the love of her life, and is survived by her husband Jamie Alexander. She is also survived by her siblings Danny, Thomas, and Jim Kett and sister Janice Kett Blinn. A brief memorial will be held at the Jazz Fest in the Gospel Tent during Jo Cool Davis' performance Sunday, April 27th at 11:10 am.
Cindy was a guest on Dr. Franklin's weekly Radio Sandy Springs Show on March 6, 2007. Check into Radio Sandy Springs for an archived copy of the show.

ABUNDANCE vs LACK What Do You Want?
|
Which Comes first, Seeing or Believing? You could ask yourself, "What do I want?" A better question might be, " What do I believe I can have?" Which comes first? Seeing or believing? If we see lack all around us, or are fearful of experiencing lack, can we believe in and receive abundance?
Conscious, Intelligent Use of the Law In his excellent book, "Working With The Law", Raymond Holliwell addresses this very question. The law of man's being is perpetual increase, progress, and growth. Like all of the Natural Laws, the Law of Supply is always working. Every person, consciously or unconsciously, is operating this Law. We secure the best for ourselves from a conscious, intelligent use of the power of Natural Law.
Abundant Supply is Endless Holliwell gives a beautiful example of unending abundance in nature with the growth cycle of a tree. From acorn to full grown tree with it's yearly cycle of falling leaves which fertilize the soil. When the tree dies it decays and becomes more nourishment for the soil. It also becomes the coal we mine for fuel. The heat from the coal is for warmth. The ashes from the coal are thrown back into the soil, which again supplies nourishment for other acorns that become trees. The point here is that the form continually changes, but nothing is lost or wasted. The supply remains the same.
Supply and Demand Where there is no demand, there is no evidence of supply. The progress of technology in the last century shows that many times a "new" discovery was slow to be accepted because people could not imagine how the new technology could be used. The supply was there, but there was no demand. Electricity is a good example of slow acceptance. People had to conceive the advantages of electricity before the demand was created. It was a matter of what a person's consciousness would permit him to discern. The same is true in our personal lives. How much abundance can you believe in?
Abundant Thought Equals Abundant Supply If we see only struggle, toil, hardship, and limitation, that's what we receive. We dare not fret and worry about supply or about where our next dollar is coming from. This mind activity restricts and limits the supply at hand. It drags us deeper into doubt and fear which cuts off the outflow of abundance. We must move into a larger state of thinking. We must think abundance in order to receive abundance. Our thoughts are a form of energy. They draw to themselves their own like and type of energy. Thoughts of lack equals lack. Thoughts of abundance equals abundance. It's the Law of Attraction at work.
Believing is Receiving If you have tried to affirm abundance but it seems to come slowly or not at all, you may be in that place in your mind where you still have to see it to believe it. You don't really believe that you can have more of any good thing. You see lack, believe it, and receive it. So believing does come first. What you believe, you see.
Think, Talk , and Live Abundance If you need supply, your single thought must be abundance. You must speak and think as though it already is. You must live as though it already is. Continuously weed out all thought and action that is not of abundance. Soon, you will experience and recognize the truth of all Natural Law. You will believe because you will know it to be true in your own experience. You will see abundance manifest into form in your life.
Remember, too, that abundance includes but is not limited to how much money you have. When you think and live abundance, it means thinking and living in peace, love, and health as well as having enough money for yourself and others.
Kathy Peck

Homeopathics What Are They?
|
Homeopathy is a complete system of healing discovered over 200 years ago by a German physician, Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. It has it's own method of diagnosing and its own special remedies. Homeopathics have no harmful side effects and are not addictive. They are safe for adults, the elderly, babies, children, pregnant women, and pets. These remedies are effective in both acute and chronic diseases. In the United States homeopathic medicine is regulated by the FDA.
Homeopathics are made from minute amounts of substances from the plant, animal, and mineral kingdoms. The remedies are all natural and prepared by dilution and succussion, a process known as dynamization.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), homeopathy is the second largest medical system that people rely on for primary health care in the world.
People are returning to homeopathy because they understand that in order to become healthy, one must work with the root cause of disease and not just the symptoms. Many Americans now understand that pharmaceutical drugs often interfere with the body's natural ability to heal itself. Suppressing, or merely removing symptoms, is a temporary solution at best. Addressing the "whole" person naturally is a long-term solution to modern states of disease. Homeopathy does this effectively.
Here at Absolute Health Chiropractic we stock a variety of Newton Homeopathics. During the month of April we are offering 10% OFF of these natural remedies. Stock up today!
