A little background info on Dr. Cathy She's an amazing woman!
Dr. Cathy has spent her life searching and learning. Through
family struggles, illness, dysfunction and difficulty, she knew there was another way. Realizing the value of her own personal transformation, she has a passionate desire to teach others.
When it comes to health, Dr. Franklin teaches her patients that they too can heal and how to do it. Through the principles of Zone Healing, originated by Dr. Thurmond Fleet, Dr. Cathy knows how to treat the WHOLE person. Chiropractic, like Zone Healing, is based on balancing the tri-une being; body, mind and soul.
Dr. Cathy introduced Zone Healing to the Post graduate department, developing the coursework for license renewal, which was recently approved for Co-sponsorship with Life University and the Concept-Therapy Institute. Now Dr. Franklin and her teaching partners are taking this information worldwide and teaching other doctors!
Dr. Franklin has recently returned from a very successful CPP Seminar in Denver, Colorado. Next stops are New York, Atlanta, Birmingham, Orlando, Los Angeles and then on to Sydney, Australia!
Our Dr. Cathy is becoming World Renowned in the Chiropractic Field, teaching Doctors so they can teach their patients, the community and the world the principles of health and healing. |
Love your Liver What you don't know about that important organ!
Your Liver is your very best friend.
Why? Because it is the primary organ of metabolism. Everything you eat, drink, or breathe including medicines, injections and the chemicals produced by your own body are sent to the liver to be metabolized for us: hormones are a good example.
When I was in Biochemistry Class which was required for over 3 semesters in the doctor of Chiropractic School, our instructor told us every day that our Liver was our very best friend.
"Take care of your liver," he said. Don't drink too much coffee, tea, sodas or alcohol! Avoid any prescription drugs that aren't absolutely necessary! That includes recreational drugs as well! Eat healthy live food 80% of the time as much as possible and rest and recuperate so your liver can too.
This mighty organ is the second largest organ in the body and works hard for you every day and night. At night while we rest and sleep, the body detoxifies itself from the many and multi-level chemical reactions that are taking place 24/7. In fact your body is a beautifully designed chemistry lab and the intelligence within knows exactly what chemicals to produce for every function. There is no better chemist in the world than the innate intelligence in the body! No researcher or pharmacist knows more than it does.
The liver can weigh up to 20 pounds and lives underneath your right ribcage just behind the ribs in front of your chest and all the way around to the right side. Being the vital organ that it is, there is good reason for it to be housed in such a protected place.
So I say to you like my professor of Biochemistry did. Take good care of your liver!
Your Liver Is Your Very Best Friend!

Zone 1 What exactly are those ZONES we talk so much about?
Zone 1 corresponds to the Glandular Zone or Chemical System. When there is a disturbance of the Glandular Zone, a person can have a multitude of symptoms, for example: physically - stomach glands, thyroid, kidney, or mentally - lack of concentration and focus or spiritually - lack of an image for their life (depression).
The purpose of adjusting Zone 1 is to regulate and return to normal function all the glands of the body. After an adjustment of Zone 1 you will begin to notice functional changes governed by the glandular/chemical system.
Some of these changes are increased energy, memory and focus, while also affecting the master gland , the Pituitary, and consequently hormones and neurotransmitters! In addition, improved digestion, elimination, appetite, and sleep will follow. This brings on a feeling of realization- a better outlook on life in general, where one is not so apt to lose their temper or to become irritated.
