With the recent completion of SR 429, Loyalty guests have access to a shortcut into Disney World! Those of you staying in Windsor Hills, Formosa Gardens, Emerald Island, Rolling Hills and Indian Creek, instead of turning right on 192, turn LEFT on 192. Just past the Publix Shopping Center is the entrance to SR 429, Take SR 429 NORTH to the Disney Exit #8, just a 2 mile drive! For those staying in Indian Ridge and Indian Ridge Oaks, head west on Sand Hill Road, turn left at the stop sign; just ahead is an on-ramp to North SR 429. Not many visitors know about this new shortcut, so let's keep this secret to ourselves! The toll will cost you 25 cents each way, but the time you save, especially in the busy season will be worth it! If you have time on your hands, the drive North on 429 is well worth it. New shopping centers are under construction, including many restaurants and theaters! SR 429 is also a great shortcut to the scenic little city of Mt.Dora, where festivals, antiquing and dining is a local secret! Go South on SR 429 for easy access to I-4, saving time on your trip to Tampa. |
