Welcome to the December 2009 Group Coaching Ins and Outs newsletter. I want to wish all of you a very happy holiday season to all of you! It has been wonderful meeting many subscribers in person at my recent ICF Orlando Session which was extremely well received and attended. Several of you also joined me a few days ago for my 6th Annual Year End call on Group Program issues. If you couldn't make it, I'm including a link so you can listen in virtually.
This month I wanted to share with you some of my favorite group program tools and resources for 2009, as well as some questions to support you in taking stock of your group program ideas for 2009 and 2010.
As always, the newsletter also includes upcoming program dates - including 2 January Group Coaching Essentials programs, the 90 Day BizSuccess program which starts Jan 15th, and dates for my in-person Group Coaching training program in Toronto at the end of February.
My book Effective Group Coaching is due out on January 11th . I will be receiving my own advance copy tomorrow from my publisher, John Wiley and Sons. | 6th Annual Year End Group Programs Call |
Thanks to all who joined me for the 6th Annual Year End Group Programs call which has now become a yearly tradition for me to host for coaches, trainers and consultants. This year we had great attendance, signalling how relevant this work is. I have created a special webpage for you to listen to the call at. You can access it here.
During this 50 minute call I cover some of my favorite tools from this year which I've brought into group coaching, workshops and retreats, as well as some key tips to remember when designing your next program. I also cover 5 questions for taking stock of your work/business this year (slightly different than those questions at the end of this newsletter).

| Upcoming Program Dates - Start 2010 with Focus and Action |

Didn't get a chance to do your business planning before the holidays OR want to start 2010 with focus? Join me for two afternoons of hands-on, intensive, focused business planning in this phone based retreat. You will benefit from some the tried and tested tools of the BizSuccess group coaching program, and leave with plans of your own for your business. The program consists of a mix of 15 minute group calls each hour, and individual planning time offline, covering 6 core areas of your business. The call also includes a retreat manual (e-copy) and a group follow up call.
Group Coaching Essentials ( 6.25 CCEs from the ICF):
Designed as a practical, resource rich program to support you in the design, marketing and implementation of your own group coaching program. Most coaches complete the program with their own programs drafted and ready to market. There's also been a number of coaches this year who have successfully launched their own programs whil completing the GEC program. Imagine having your own program launching before the spring!

| Taking Stock: Reflecting on the Year that Was and Planning for the Year Ahead |
Every year at this time, I include a number of questions designed to get you thinking about this year, and focusing in on what you want to create next year. Carve out 15 minutes before the year end to take stock of your accomplishments.
