Volunteers needed for business canvassing!
GLCCC LogoThe GA Latino Complete Count Committee's Business sub-committee is requesting volunteers for business canvassing.

Volunteers are needed to approach businesses with high percentage of Latino clientele or large number of Latino employees to display 2010 Census posters and materials in their place of business.

We are targeting areas in Gwinnett, Cobb, DeKalb, Hall and Whitfield Counties, but also welcome other efforts in other parts of the state.  There has been a preliminary schedule drafted and is still changing with more additions.  The business canvassing will include Tuesdays and Saturdays from 11 AM until 3 PM.

Please contact Alejandro Coss, President of the Mexican American Business Chamber and Vice Chair of the GA Latino Complete Count Committee in order for you to coordinate your volunteer efforts with us.  He may be reached by email at acoss@mexicanchamber.org or by phone at 770.441.7581.

Please volunteer for us to be able to ensure a complete count of the Latino community in Georgia!
