 Apart from the revelation of God found in the Bible, there is no greater foundation upon which a civilized society can be built than the love of a mother for her children and the preservation of the traditional family. Building a nation that protects children, respects motherhood and preserves the family requires vigilance in the face of the self serving amongst us. Throughout the nation our people are giving thanks for mothers this day as it should be, but not without concern for the future of our families and children. See today's Blog. |

Our Father, you knew Adam would not be fulfilled without Eve, a friend, lover, helper, and bearer of his offspring. Time has proven the wisdom of your plan from the beginning in the Garden. In our fallen state and the trouble it causes, men and women are not immune to the efforts of Satan in this world to destroy what You called good. Thank you that in and through Christ, your plan for marriage between a man and a woman continues to bear fruit, to the blessing, joy, and nurture of children, of all ages. Thank you for placing in mothers the instinct to love, nurture and demonstrate each day what sacrifice, service, and love are all about, that the love of Christ can be seen each day in them. It is our prayer that by Your Holy Spirit you guard their minds and hearts from the lies of the evil One who seeks to lead them away into diverse temptations and destroy their lives. And may we men love, protect, honor and affirm them as worthy heirs with us, of eternal life. In His Name and for His sake we pray, Amen.
