Buying In?...Or Bowing Out?
Christians must decide

Greetings!
After the St.Louis Cardinals won the final game of the world series this week, several key players were asked why they believed this Team went all the way to victory. Their answer? "Buy in!" To a man they 'bought in' to Manager Tony Larussa's approach to baseball, working as a team, and trusting his leadership. Once they 'bought in' to his plan, they worked as a team, overcame adversity, and won the World Series. In all of these, they had to believe, and continue to believe, if they were to get to game seven, and the final out.
"Buying in" - the age old principle of believing
Such testimonies are common amongst winning teams and individuals in athletics, but the phrase "Buy in!" means to believe, to go all in and all out, and applies to much more than just athletic teams.
It applies to businesses, organizations, and ministries with a clear vision and meaningful purpose. Like the St. Louis Cardinals, they must all find people who will 'buy in' to the plan and work together to make it happen. |

God shows up when His people "Buy In"
The Apostle Paul, writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit approximately 1400 years after Gideon and the 300 men God used to defeat the unbelieving Midianites, wrote,
"Now all these things happened unto them as an example, and they are written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come."

It is no different today with the "America2012" Project

Our God and Father of us all, open our eyes to see that You are still LORD of the universe and have not left us bereft of power through faith applied to see You work, to see You have Your way with the unbelieving, the mockers and scoffers, and change a nation as you did in times past. Move upon our hearts to not hold back in unbelief, but commit to the battle as clay pots armed only with trumpets, and the light of life within. In His Name we pray, so be it.
