"If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"

Greetings!  

Month by month, week by week and day by day, we are being told by the talking heads of the liberal media, and educational establishment that we are no longer a Christian nation, an assertion the opponents of Christianity take great delight in repeating ad nauseum, ad infinitum, hoping that if repeated enough the American people will obligingly accept.  Their purpose?  Discourage any opposition to their contol of America through a secularized government devoid of Christian principles, wisdom, influence or opposition.

The campaign to destroy the message, remembrance, and power of the life and culture saving work of Christ is being diabolically directed by the minions of Satan in the hearts of those who wish nothing to do with the God of our Fathers and the author of all wisdom and blessing. 

These efforts are reminiscent of the Nazi propaganda campaigns of the 1930's and that of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin in Russia less than a hundred years ago. Both sought to relegate Christ, Christians, and Christianity to a meaningless and powerless influence, thus allowing totalitarian control over every aspect of life for those under their dominance and control. 

Revealing the vanity of their imaginations  

The Apostle Paul, under the influence of the Holy Spirit, wrote,

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them...so they are without excuse because ...when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools...and even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are debased."  Romans 1:18-28.

Our Father, who art in heaven, open the minds and hearts of your people to see what is happening in America. Open our eyes to the spiritual warfare that is being waged for the souls of men.  Open our ears to discern the good and the evil that comes forth from the tongue, and choose the good. Give us a hunger and thirst for your Word, the illumination of the Spirit, and the light of Christ to guide our steps. May we come to love you with our whole heart, mind, and soul and glorify You in all we say and do. Lead us in discerning the times as your Ambassadors to the citizens of earth.
