Yesterday, as reported by FoxNews, Thomas Friedman of the New York Times "told a packed, applauding worshipful audience at the annual Aspen Festival of Ideas in Colorado in late June" that, "The first decade of the 21st century was the worst in American history."
Martin Sieff, the writer of the article and former Managing Editor, International Affairs of United Press International, went on to systematically dismantle Friedman's speech, demonstrating how the left in America pontificates, publishes their lies with incredible arrogance, deceives the American people, and thereby perpetrates our destruction on a regular basis.
So why do I write about this?
 Because we Christians and most Americans have believed their lies, and re-elected fools election after election by our absence at the voting booth. By doing so, we allowed the Philistines amongst us to ignore the laws of God and the Constitution our Founders gave us. From their positions of power they filled our courts of law with judges who devise rulings without the counsel of God, respect for the Constitution, or the will of the people. The heathen amongst us who despise our God, and us, though they be fewer in number, are destroying the nation from within.
Our part in this folly?
How do they succeed in this satanically driven conspiracy against the Kingdom of God and those called to build it? By leading us through incessant deception to believe they are right, and that we Christians have no right even to speak in the public square, let alone have a say in what the culture should honor and respect. The effect of believing these falsehoods is widespread discouragement, disillusionment, weakness, and a failure to be strong in the LORD and the power of His might. As a result, we have simply capitulated to their ideas, folded tent, and walked away from our citizenship responsibility. It is time that stopped!
Bringing the foolishness to an end
Tomorrow - or so our leaders tell us - the first step in redirecting the course of the nation will occur in Congress when our newly elected and much more conservative representatives force a VOTE on the fiscal insanity with which these Philistines have saddled every American man, woman, and child.
As Martin Sief says in his article, "The signs of American Revival and the resources and potential for recovery are all over the place - Though neither President Obama nor Friedman had anything to do with any of them."
