All who pay attention to what is happening - and not happening - under the Obama Administration know that the 2012 elections are pivotal for America.
The stakes are even higher than at the time of the American Revolution. Americans had lost faith in Parliament and the King of England to correct the wrongs they had inflicted on their prospering colonists, and such is the case today with this President and his Administration. The great question is whether we will go to battle as did the Colonists, to govern our selves and control our future, or allow those in power to treat us as subjects, not citizens.
The power of what we believe
According to a recent Rasmussen poll , "Only 23% of voters believe the federal government today has the consent of the governed." That same poll found that "only 54% of voters now think American elections are fair."
Contributing to this notion is a June 10th Washington Times article titled "Vote fraudsters redouble efforts", in which Robert Knight cites current efforts by ACORN and ACLU to circumvent and shut down efforts by many states to prevent voter fraud.
Knight's article only touches the surface of what is being done to ensure the left's agenda goes forward in America while millions of God fearing Americans are out of touch with, or simply do not believe they can, or should, exercise their citizenship duty to VOTE.
Polls reveal what people believe. The Founders believed they had to declare their independence and take a stand even if it meant going to war against the greatest military force in the world. Their Motto revealed what they believed. It is what we believe that determines every thing in life. If we believe there is no hope, our actions or inaction will reveal our hopelessness. If we believe we can't succeed at business, we won't try.
If we believe we can't change anything in Washington, we won't VOTE.
That is why millions of Americans - Christians in particular - do not VOTE, to the great disservice of all Americans, past, present, and future. All that we do, or choose not to do, is based on what we believe.
When millions of Americans lose faith that their participation in citizen led government will do any good, and no longer Vote, a determined minority that mobilizes their votes, can rule a nation. That is precisely what has happened in America!
Facing our unbelief, misbelief, and disobedience
Millions of Bible believing Christians have been led to believe their votes do not matter; that we cannot overcome the lies of the devil, the depths of our depravity, and change the direction of America; that our nation is destined by God to fail; that voting is therefore a waste of time, even an act against His will! Never mind that we are the largest and most needed voting block in America!
Many do not believe we should be salt and light in civil government, an institution ordained by God for the good of mankind and the propagation of the Gospel. They believe, to the great disservice of their neighbors, the preservation of our freedoms and the glory of God, that we should not be involved with 'politics' when millions exercise their citizenship duty to ensure the very freedoms those who do not VOTE, enjoy. Instead, they have retreated into the biblically untenable position of being silent pietists, proclaiming a partial Gospel that meets our desired comforts, and enables us to rationalize our duty.
While we rationalize our duty as citizens, thousands of our military personnel, past and present are serving and sacrificing for our freedoms and security while we sit AWOL in the bleachers as uninvolved citizens enjoying the benefits while we await the rapture.
Believe me, this smug and unfounded theology does not cut it with God, or our unbelieving neighbors. We will stand before God to answer for our lack of faith and Davidic courage, just as did the Pharisees of Christ's day.
Reclaiming what is rightfully ours
The book of Hebrews tells us that faith pleases God, not faith in the word of man, or no cost intellectual assent, but action faith in the Word and promises of God, in which He cannot lie. The Apostle James said, "Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself." It was David as a youth who said, "Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God", and then marched forward by faith to meet his foe while his brothers and all Israel shrank back in fear.
It was Gideon when called a 'valiant warrior' by the angel of the LORD, who believed Israel's circumstances were because God had abandoned them instead of recognizing it was their sin of unbelief and disobedience that led them into oppression by the Midianites.
The battle for the soul and future of America began before our founding. Bible believing Christians - the largest, and most conservative voting block in America - can ensure the nation goes no further into moral darkness, and economic collapse if we just would!
First: Man up!
The challenge of our time is first to repent of our doubt and unbelief, and then to awaken, mobilize, and turnout 3 million of the 20 million eligible to VOTE Bible believing Christians who DO NOT VOTE from election to election!
"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Thyself STRONG in the behalf of THEM whose heart is perfect toward Him."

Second: Step up!
"Set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD...Fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD will be with you!"
