My Country Tis Of Thee
Sweet land of liberty

                                            My country,' tis of thee,

sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing;

land where my fathers died,

land of the pilgrims' pride,

from every mountainside let freedom ring! 

 

My native country, thee,

land of the noble free, thy name I love;

I love thy rocks and rills,

thy woods and templed hills;

my heart with rapture thrills, like that above. 

 

Let music swell the breeze,

and ring from all the trees sweet freedom's song;

let mortal tongues awake;

let all that breathe partake;

let rocks their silence break, the sound prolong. 

 

Our fathers' God, to thee,

author of liberty, to thee we sing;

long may our land be bright

with freedom's holy light;

protect us by thy might, great God, our King.

Early Americans found their wisdom and strength in the God in whom they placed their trust, not the foolish ideas of men who knew not the God of the Scriptures.  America will soon lose the 'liberty' that comes only from God, if they refuse to 'own their dependence' upon the 'author of liberty.'  Abraham Lincoln said. . . 
  
"It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord." 
  
Our land will not 'be bright with freedom's holy light' if His people do not arise by the millions in the next 18 months to elect men and women of deep and abiding faith  'whose God is the Lord'. 

 

God of our fathers, the only true and eternal God, creator of heaven and earth, forgive us for believing our lives are only what we decide they are to be here on earth. Open the eyes of our hearts to see that we are not mere products of time, chance, and primordial soup, but created beings with eternal purpose in whom You wish to indwell, inspire, and fulfill, to Your Glory, our great joy, and the blessing of all mankind. May we recognize the sublime truth that our nation will only be blessed as we fulfill our duty as your people to take full ownership of our dependence upon You.  In the Name of Your dear Son, Jesus of Nazareth, in Whom alone is there salvation from the power of sin and death, Amen.

$4,205 Received Toward $6,000 Matching Grant!

 

Today, May 15th, is the date we set to have raised $20,000 to commence our efforts with Trinet Internet Solutions to impact the 2012 elections with the Christian Vote.

 

When the Matching Grant is met, $11,980 of the needed $20,000 will have been received, leaving only $8,000 to commence this critical project.
