| Greetings!
No offense to American mothers on this Special Day of recognition for the invaluable role they play in all our lives, but to their great relief, America is emerging from the dark days of the secular coronation of matriarchy over patriarchy with the realization that God is our 'Father', not our mother; that children - both boys and girls - need the leadership, example, and love of their fathers as much as their mothers.
With the recognition of the bravery, strength, and sacrifice of the first responders on 9-11; the men of "Black Hawk Down" in Somalia; those who have served and died in Iraq and Afghanistan, Lebanon, and around the world, it has become clear to Americans that a return to God's order of authority, tender love for one's family, and service to one's community and country, is necessary if our nation is to survive. . . and thrive. It is about time. No one wants the type of patriarchal domination of the Taliban or Saudi Princes, but the days of a misguided women's movement playing out on American TV with what Arnold Schwarzenegger called 'girliemen', and dominant women, is over.
Respect for those who served and sacrificed rises when we are made aware of their sacrifice and service, and thus it should be lest we forget what we have, and why we have it.
