Obama Throws Marriage Under The Bus 

 

The undoing of marriage in America

True to form, our President today, did it his way. Like his support of the unions against the will of the people of Wisconsin and Ohio, Barack Obama ordered his Attorney General Eric Holder to stop defending the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), i.e. marriage between a man and a woman only, passed by an overwhelming majority of both houses of Congress and signed by President Clinton in 1996. 
  
In response to another incoherent, violation of his duties as President, Gary Bauer states,
  
"It is not up to Barack Obama to determine which laws he likes and which laws he doesn't. It is his responsibility to enforce the law until the nation's highest court decides the law does not pass constitutional analysis."  
  
Obama is not only outside the parameters of his Office, he is flying in the face of 31 states whose voters rejected so called 'same sex' marriage.
  
This President is proving he is nothing more than a defacto charlatan, an emperor with no clothes, the new American dictator parading as a President. Putting his political ambition over the clear will of the people. . . again, he is acting solely to satisfy another element of his left wing base in preparation for the 2012 elections. Imagine: throwing the fundamental unit of a civilized society under the bus for one's own political gain! No matter the will of the people, or the Congress, or his statements during his campaign to the contrary.  Whatever works to gain, and then maintain, power and control. Mullah Obama has spoken, and that is it!  And folks wonder why there are riots, and protests in the Middle East?
  
Please, dear friends, it is time prepare now for the 2012 elections!

No more taxpayer dollars for abortion

 
It is unconscionable that we Christians should be forced to pay for the killing of the innocent in what should be the safest place for a child, a mother's womb.  A more despicable and heinous practice than people can imagine, it is a stain so dark on the soul of America, it can only be attributed to the mind of Lucifer himself.  It denies everything we ever stood for. 
  
For decades, taxpayers have been forced to partner with the largest abortion provider in the nation, Planned Parenthood, to the tune of over $350 million this past year.  To top off the disgust, Planned Parenthood spent over 10 million of our tax dollars in 2010 to get sympathetic candidates elected to Congress, many of whom are in the U.S. Senate.
  
Early on Saturday morning, February 19th, the House of Representatives passed a continuing resolution that included an amendment to defund Planned Parenthood.
  
The bill now goes to the Senate where it will face a much tougher battle.
  
Congressman Mike Pence, on a Conference call earlier this evening, believes that with an outpouring of support from Pro-life, Pro-Family supporters putting pressure on both democrat and republican Senators, it may well pass, which would then put enormous pressure on President Obama to sign the resolution into law. 
  
IMPORTANT!
  
Please call the Capitol switchboard at 202-224-3121 and ask to be connected to your two Senators, one at a time.  Tell them (their aides most likely) that under no circumstances do you want your tax dollars paying for abortions.  Ask your Senator to vote 'Yes' on the continuing resolution, with the defunding of Planned Parenthood amendment included.  
  
Don't go to sleep! 
  
The election may be over, but the real work is now, not a year from now.
