Since the beginning of Barack Obama's reign as President, it has been disconcerting and of growing concern to most thoughtful Americans, that this President is less a leader in the mold of our nation's great leaders than an ideological sophist determined to press his agenda on an unwilling people. 

  

In spite of deep and continued public protest throughout 2009, he forced a gargantuan government healthcare bill upon us all without regard for the cost, the content, the Constitution, or the outcries of the people - no matter his promises of transparency, bi-partisanship, and more ethical government during his campaign. 

  

In spite of a stinging rebuke of his agenda at the ballot box in November, the threat of out-of-control federal spending and subsequent rejection of the advice of his own committee to stop the hemorrhage, he impenitently proposed a budget requiring more spending, borrowing, and increased government control that will impact every area of our lives. 

  

  

And now, he orchestrates his own political machine to interfere in state politics, in violation of his oath of office, coming out publicly on the side of government  employee unions and against the will of the people in Wisconsin and Ohio who elected their officials to end  excessive state spending. Not a surprise considering that the former President of the SEIU (Service Employees International Union), Andy Stern, was by far and away the number one visitor to the White House during Obama's first two years in office.

  

The fact that he met with Richard Trumka, the President of the AFL-CIO Union 43 times since the first of this year but not once did he pick up the phone to call six of his cabinet members in his first two years of office, is telling!  The great savior the voters elected is nothing more than the radical left wing Chicago ideologue -I and many others warned he was - who relies more on his Union connections than advice from his own cabinet!

  

  

If the voters had any doubt what this President is about, there should be no doubt now. Every decision he makes is about what Barak Obama, the so-called 'progressives', and the unions want, and not a matter of what is in the best interests of the people or the nation.  How is he any different than the mullahs, and dictators in the Middle East?

Having asked the question, there is little difference between this President, his administration, and his secular 'progressive' friends  in  state and federal government, from the ideologues in Iran who are forcing their people into a radical and totalitarian Islamic state, against their will. 

  

Both regimes, while giving lip service to their people, are pushing an agenda that will only lead to greater unrest, hardship, turmoil, division, and loss of freedoms, here, and abroad.

  

  

While top down tyrannical rule based on raw power is deeply embedded in the middle east, our tradition is based on government of, by, and for the people as clearly outlined in both our Declaration of Independence and Constitution.  Bedrock to those documents is our conviction that our rights and freedoms come from God, that government is to protect and preserve those rights, and the citizens determine the nation's direction at the ballot box.

  

George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan, knew that "the eternal rules of order and right which heaven itself has ordained", were the only trustworthy basis of a nation's well being. Barack Obama knows nothing of those eternal rules. He is guided instead by an ideological belief system that flows from the likes of Bill Ayres of the Weather Underground, Saul Alinsky, the writer of Rules For Radicals, and his appointed "czars", with little regard for our foundational values,  Constitution, or the will of the people. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing, a false messiah, and will destroy America if allowed to continue his plan to 'transform' America. . . his way.  

  

The godless in the American 'progressive' movement have been attempting to force the American people into a secular, top down, government controlled system, against our will, by political deception and chicanery for nearly 100 years. Barack Obama, is not only the latest but the most deceptive of them all.

  

Indeed, "Ye shall know them by their fruits." 

Restore America has been calling Christians to awaken to their citizenship duty and voting responsibility for eleven years.  Given the increasing threat to the well being of the nation from within, and without by the ungodly, and the "salt" and "light"  ambassadors we are called to be by our Saviour, it is imperative that we stand together at the ballot box and in the public square in the cause of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that is found only through Jesus Christ.  Please  partner with us as we occupy responsibly until He comes.
