Greetings!

As Christians who have come to know and understand that God has truly revealed Himself down through the centuries to generation after generation; who have the witness of His presence in our hearts; we know that His Word is true.  The events that are transpiring before our eyes and our father's eyes before us, are only further evidence that His Word is reliable and the only true revelation of what is to come. 

The events surrounding the recent election are encouraging, but not a proof that Americans can sigh a sigh of relief, sit back and be confident that henceforward all will be well. Those who have their own plans for America, plans that are clearly not of You, nor of the people, are determined to fight on to get there way. Apart from a continuing awakening to our true history, a clear rejection of the satanically led 'progressive' movement, and a willingness to turn back to the God of our Forefathers, there will be no certain restoration of the nation, only a continuation of sin, rebellion, and servitude to the masters of men. 

While we are called to proclaim the Truth from generation to generation until He returns, our hope is not and cannot be in man, but in God.  His promises to be with His people, Jew and Gentile alike - in all occasions, circumstances, and darkness - should be our trust, our confidence, and our strength.

Dear God, Father of all mankind, maker and keeper of the universe, and each and every soul born on the earth; open our eyes to see clearly, draw close to You, seek Your
Face, and pray for our newly elected leaders, that they will not be deceived or intimidated but walk with You, talk with You, and follow You. Find us faithful to place our trust in You and not in man, to stand with godly leaders and support them in the front lines of the spiritual warfare they will surely face. Do not allow the evil one to deceive them, or to move them unwittingly to a different course. May they not forget what the people, in wisdom from You, have said to them.  Remind them daily what they must do to bring wisdom and stability to the nation no matter what the personal and political sacrifice. Give them lion's hearts, with courage and conviction, as the men of Issachar who knew what Israel should do. Raise up amongst them men and women who so hear Your voice that they arise under the anointing of Your Holy Spirit and clarity of mind to lead and speak truth to each other and the American people. Give them favor, and good success. We pray these things in Jesus Name, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

• For Merrily and me as we drive to Florida from our home in Tennessee tomorrow
• For our Son Taylor and his wife Mandy as they prepare for the birth of their second child, a son, on Tuesday, that our LORD will watch over them all and all will go well
• For me, as I continue to prepare a report on this election for our Board and Donors; and for God's wisdom in discerning what God is saying to us from these results about our nation's future, the role of the Body of Christ in that future, and the role of Restore America

God bless you ALL as you truly count your blessings and recount to your children and family what Thanksgiving is all about.
