Last Days Extremism

"Progressive" intolerance

October 28, 2010

"The First Amendment was never intended to insulate our public institutions from any mention of God, the Bible or religion. When such insulation occurs, another religion, such as secular humanism, is effectively established."

- U.S. District Court, in Crockett v. Sorenson (1983)

Greetings!

Have you noticed the increasing hostility and intolerance toward Christians, Christianity, and anyone who is deemed a threat to the agenda of the Obama Administration and radical congressional democrats?

In just the last few days, Joy Behar on "The View" called Senatorial Candidate Sharon Angle a "bitch", two days in a row before millions of viewers.  Imagine the furor of the left wing media if Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Greta or any other conservative had made such a remark, once, let alone twice!

Barack Obama, again, on live television, called those opposed to his agenda, "enemies", pitting millions of Americans against those who do not agree with turning America into a debt ridden European style socialist state.

Further, his very recent statement, "We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back," exposes his own intolerance of any thoughtful and honest disagreement with his top down, government is God, socialist views.  Worse, using civil rights era "go to the back of the bus" imagery, this President demonstrates his own Bull Connors type of bigotry, and intolerance.

Bigotry

"Intolerant attachment to a particular creed, opinion, practice, etc."

Obama and Behar not alone

On October 11th, Tom Snyder, editor of Movie Guide, wrote that in a face-to-face meeting with the Association of National Advertisers and the Alliance for Family Entertainment, ". . . the top executives of the five major TV networks refused to agree to a request by major advertisers to provide more primetime family-friendly scripted shows on their networks."

While the two groups presented "extensive research showing the economic benefits of family programming",  and "conclusive findings that most Americans say thy want more family programming", all five, including CBS, NBC and Fox, dismissed the information.

When several advertisers objected to offensive, anti-family material on the networks, Dawn Ostroff, President of entertainment for The CW Network said "her network will be the one to decide what the definition of family and family programming is."

Sound a bit like Behar and Obama?  But there are more who have this same 'self righteous' attitude.

The source noted that Nina Tassler, president of CBS Entertainment had no problem with "controversial subjects like incest because "incest is real,"" and two months later announced CBS would be "adding a gay character to three of its shows."

This same arrogant "don't bother me with the facts, or the views of the people"  attitude was demonstrated by NPR's chief executive, Vivian Schiller in the firing of Juan Williams.

My way or the highway, or . . . back of the bus

It is all about 'political correctness' as decided by the emerging secular humanist religionists who have an agenda to implement at any cost, no matter what we think.  To them, it is 'my way or the highway, as exemplified by Schiller, Tassler, Ostroff, Behar, and Obama.

Thankfully, they provide a lucid snapshot of what we can expect over the next two years, and beyond, if the new bigotry is 'effectively established'

Stopping the takeover

Ike re Future of the RepublicSo how do we prevent the less informed amongst us from being deceived by the great deceiver, provocateur, and his congressional lackeys who are  posturing as conservatives?  How do we prevent the deceptive propaganda concocted by radical politicians from taking root in the minds of the people?  Two ways:

Warn everyone you can of the great danger to all Americans and the watching world if the same cabal of radical 'progressives' maintain control of the U.S. House and Senate.

Second, speak truth to your neighbors, friends and associates, pastors and brethren. Send them to the Christian Voter Guides found at www.restoreamerica.net

The power to topple tyrants, dictators, power brokers, parties, self-serving politicians, and renegade government bureaucrats is in the hands and hearts of the American people.

Greetings!

A share in the sovereignty of the state, which is exercised by the citizens at large, in voting at elections is one of the most important rights of the subject, and in a republic ought to stand foremost in the estimation of the law.
