Greetings!
The days just prior to an election are like the last days before Christ returns. The Anti Christ and those in his corner will say and do anything to maintain power, and the target of those deceptions is always the people. The people have in their hands and in their words - if they choose - the power to topple tyrants, dictators, and power brokers; to reform parties, and stop unwanted policies; drive out self serving politicians, renegade bureaucrats, and restore government to sound fiscal and social policy - if they but would.
In the days of Nehemiah it was the people who stood firm, armed themselves and rebuilt the wall of Jerusalem against the threats of Sanballat, Tobiah, and Israel's enemies. After Jesus' death it was the people the Jewish leaders feared when confronted with the boldness of Peter and John.
Witness the name calling, the slurs, the efforts to denigrate and discredit the Tea Party by elected officials whose agendas and positions of authority are threatened. Witness the efforts by elected officials who believe more government spending is the solution to all problems, to defame their opponents in the eyes of the public to avoid discussing their voting records.
This is nothing new. History is replete with this method of maintaining power, avoiding scrutiny, and subjecting the people to further abuse by those who know no bounds to get what they want.
The current President
A prime example is our current President who promised transparency, openness, and bi-partisanship. No President in our lifetime has come close to his deception, closed door dealings, close mindedness, and partisanship. His agenda is clear. His mind is made up. He is right and we are all wrong, and he will say anything to lay blame elsewhere than himself.
He is the most dangerous contemporary world leader and threat to all we hold dear of any President in our history. He will pit the wealthy against the poor, the haves versus the have nots, cater to the undisciplined, and dis-incentivize those who work hard. He and his sheep in Congress - if returned to their bastions of power - will in fact, redistribute the wealth, destroy our health care system, cater to the lawless who know no boundaries, play the diversity card, destroy our free market economy,raise taxes upon us all, drive us into third world status, and finish bankrupting the nation.
If he and his radical friends in Congress are allowed to return to Washington D.C. we will have only ourselves to blame.
I said during his campaign that he was a charlatan, a narcissist, a pied piper, before anyone else was willing to say it, and he has proven it true. What's worse, members of his own party closed ranks behind him to do his bidding, a shocking expose' of their real agenda.
So how do we prevent the less informed amongst us from being deceived by the great deceiver, provocateur, and his congressional lackeys who are all posturing as conservatives?
Be informed before you fill out your ballot! And help your neighbors, friends, and associates be informed as well.
