Greetings!

No student of the Bible and the history of the Jewish people can deny the cyclical nature of their faithfulness to the God Who delivered them from slavery in Egypt into the Promised Land.  At times they flourished under faithful leaders who trusted the God of their forefathers, only to fall away to the worship of other gods who did not and do not exist. Each time, they fell under the judgement of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the very God Who loved them, provided for them, and blessed them when they and their leaders followed Him with a whole heart.

America is in such a time of judgement. We have taken for granted His goodness, turned away from Him to the world, embraced their Gods, rejected His laws, and ignored our heritage. We have given over the leadership of our institutions to the godless, the immoral, the foolish, and the mockers of God. In so doing we have brought the judgement of God on ourselves and our children, emboldened evil in our midst and around the world. We have sewn to the wind and are now reaping the whirlwind, seemingly oblivious to what we have done, what we are doing to our children, and to Whom we will answer. 

Throughout the history of Western Civilization however, God has used men and women of great faith who have chosen to honor and exalt His Name, His promises, His Word and His Son, no matter the risk. Such men are few these days, but where one arises, valiant men and women arise to follow.

On September third of this year, Reverend Cary Gordon, pastoral liaison to civil government for Cornerstone Church in Sioux City, Iowa, sent a letter to 1000 pastors in Iowa calling them to "commit to confront the injustice of ungodly decisions of the Iowa Supreme Court by boldly calling upon their flocks to "vote no on judicial retention" for the three consecutive Sundays prior to Election Day."

Gordon's actions were precipitated by the unanimous decision on April 3, 2009 by the Iowa Supreme Court to legalize so called 'gay marriage', illustrating  Jeremiah's statement under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that "they that handle the law knew Me not." 

For his determination to exercise his First Amendment free speech rights, Gordon was met with a barrage of criticism from the left including the infamous Barry Lynn of Americans United for the Separation of Church and State.  Lynn called on the IRS to "investigate" Gordon and Cornerstone Church for allegedly violating current law. As of October 1, and with a church phone bank following up his letter, Gordon has received commitments from 100 Iowa pastors to stand with him in his effort to unseat activist judges who blatantly ignore the people, the laws of God, and 7000 years of what should be, and has been, clear to all.

In his letter to Iowa pastors, Gordon pointed out that the slogans, "Politics do not belong in the church!" and "The church must be separate from the state!" were, word for word, the official slogans of the German Nazi Party and were "relentlessly hammered into the minds of the compliant German population by the Nazi propaganda machine."

He wrote that Hitler "knew if he could not silence the voice of the church, he could not exercise total domination," that "The church and its leaders meekly capitulated to this form of tyranny, and 25 million people died as a result, six million of them Jews.  Secular fundamentalists in the United States know the same thing Hitler knew.  The only thing that stands in their way of the total takeover of our American culture, the final removal of any mention of God from the public arena, and the shredding of the last remains of our Judeo-Christian value system, is the Church of Jesus Christ."

Now cometh the ungodly in America, like Sanballat, Tobias, and Geshem who wished to stop Nehemiah in rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem, to say, "What is this thing that ye do?Will ye rebel against the king?" (Nehemiah 2:19)

Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit... for my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

Jeremiah 2:11,13

LORD God of heaven and earth, the only true God, open our eyes to see that 
Satan is about his business of deceiving both the believers and unbelievers in order to accomplish his diabolic and death filled purpose on the earth.  Help us dear LORD to humbly acknowledge that we are no match for his deceptions on our own.  Illumine our minds by Thy Spirit to understand the times in which we live and what we should do. Raise up men after your own heart like Reverend Cary Gordon, that Your Son would be glorified and our children delivered from the lies and bondage of the devil and those who would impose his chains of slavery once again.  Forgive us LORD for departing from You and forgetting the power of Your presence when we determine to honor and obey You in our daily lives and witness to the watching world. Awaken us to our responsibility as citizens in this election and fiercely defend the truth that sets men free.  In the Name of our King Who is truly King of kings and LORD of lords.  Amen
