In the 2000 General Election only 27 million of the 52 million Bible Believing, Born Again, Evangelical Christians who were eligible to VOTE, turned out to Vote. 26% of the entire VOTE cast.
- 14 million of the 52 million were registered but DID NOT VOTE.
- 11 million were not even registered to VOTE.
In the 2004 General Election, 33 million of the 52 million VOTED. 28% of the entire VOTE cast.
- 9 million who were registered, DID NOT VOTE.
- 10 million remained unregistered.
In the 2008 General Election, 33 million of the 52 million VOTED. Again, 26% of the entire VOTE cast.
In the few remaining weeks before each state's Voter Registration cutoff date, the greatest need is Voter Registration in our churches. In spite of that need from election to election, little is said from our pulpits and Christian organizations about our negligence as citizens, about our responsibility as salt and light Christians and our duty to VOTE if we are to remain a free people.
Sadly to say, less than a thousand people out of the 6,200 people on our mailing list - and who have received our mailings over several years - have signed up for our Value Your Vote Campaign and even less have
- Sent emails to their friends to become part of the campaign with them
- Contacted their pastors to request a voter registration drive in their church
- And far, far fewer have made a contribution to our efforts at this critical time

Father in heaven, forgive us for our indifference, apathy, and unwillingness to take our freedoms and duty as citizens seriously. Forgive our pastors for their fear of man and hireling attitudes. Forgive us for not holding them accountable. But most of all, forgive us for our unwillingness to take even the easiest steps to correct the problem when it is presented to us. By our silence, carelessness, and disrespect of Your Son's command to be salt and light, we have unwittingly contributed to our nation's mounting woes, and certain demise if we who claim your Name do not repent of our wicked ways. Be merciful oh God. Awaken us in these remaining days to see the urgency of the hour and do what we can easily do. In His Name we ask this, Amen. |
What you can do to mobilize Evangelicals in time for the November Elections? Be not unbelieving but believing. Believe in Christ in you, the hope of Glory, and in the power of His resurrection. For greater is He Who is in us than he who is in the world.

Moving Forward
Restore America has been calling Christians to awaken to their citizenship duty and voting responsibility for eleven years.
