"If the people fail to vote, a government will be developed which is not their government... The whole system of American Government rests on the ballot box. Unless citizens perform their duties there, such a system of government is doomed to failure."
Calvin Coolidge, Thirtieth President of the United States |

Takeover!
From Subjects to Citizens. . . to Subjects again? May 18, 2010 |
| Greetings!
Today's elections will be revealing. Will the outcomes reflect the mind and mood of the VOTERS in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Virginia in recent elections, or an unjustified confidence in an Administration and Congress who are determined to "fundamentally transform America" into a government controlled, socialist state? |
| Fundamental Questions
When Barack Obama announced a few days before his election in 2008 that we were within a few days of 'fundamentally transforming America', the great majority of Americans had no idea what he had in mind. They should know by now.
But will they recognize the necessity of removing from office those who refused to read and objectively assess the healthcare bill? Those who are anchored in their political ideology, and chose to go-along-to-get-along with the out of focus, pollyanna, pie in the sky, left wing leadership of their party? Even if it meant destroying the healthcare system and bankrupting the nation?
These are fundamental questions, the answers to which we may see in this cameo preceding the November 2nd General Election. Watch closely tonight and think deeply about the results. Hopefully, prayerfully, we will have learned the lessons of this past year, that charlatans, ideologues, pied pipers, and false messiahs never resolve problems. They only create more.
By God's Providential hand, we-the-people in America enjoy the right every two years to remove from office those who do not serve our best interests as a free people, and to replace them with those we hope... will.
May the prayers and actions of 'salt and light' Saints and the foolishness of men provide such contrast that wisdom will prevail in the VOTING booths of America today. If we are not wise, we will ensure our enslavement again as subjects, not citizens.
To my readers in Arkansas, Kentucky, Oregon, and Pennsylvania, please take your 'solemn trust' seriously, and VOTE today!

"You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; and you will keep on seeing, but will not perceive; for the heart of this people has become dull, and with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and return, and I should heal them."
Isaiah 6:9-10 |

What Can we do, and what Should we do
Over the last several decades millions of Christians, out of apathy, ignorance, or indifference chose not to vote in election after election. That fact alone has contributed greatly to the moral, spiritual, and political disintegration of America. That can be changed, as well as the direction of the nation - in this coming election - if our pastors and Christian leaders across America call the people of God to their citizenship responsibility. Please urge them to do so. Don't wait. Do it now.
