- Auto Login: When enabled, you do
not have to type your username and password for
every login to Open WebMail. However, for security
reasons, the auto login feature will be active only if
you have not explicitly logged out in previous session
and the previous session is not timed out.
- Multiple Languages/Multiple Charsets:
Open WebMail is currently available for more than 30
languages.
- vCard-Compliant Address Book: The new
address book implements a completely vCard-
compliant system that is extendable and modular.
This brings Open WebMail up-to-date with current
address technology and allows sharing of address
book information among users.
- Webdisk Support: The Webdisk module
provides a web interface for ou to use your
home directory as a virtual disk on the web. It is also
designed for storage of email attachments, so you
can freely copy attachments between mail messages
and the Webdisk. Webdisk supports basic file
operation (mkdir, rmdir, copy, move, rm), file upload
and download (multiple files or directories download is
supported, Webdisk compresses them into a zip
stream on the fly when transmitting). It can also
handle many types of archives, including zip, arj, rar,
tar.gz, tar.bz, tar.bz2, tgz, tbz, gz, z...)
