Spotlight on RTCA board member Patsy Payne Patsy Payne is one of four new RTCA board members this year. She serves as the Council Presidents Representative. She has been actively involved with RTCA since 1996. Prior to being the Council President's Representative, Patsy served as RTCA's treasurer for three years. She has been employed at Remington Park Racetrack in Oklahoma City, OK since its opening in 1988, and currently serves as the board president. Her husband of 22 years, John Payne, whom she met at the racetrack, is a RTCA region director. Patsy and John have two daughters, four grand children, and a wonderful great grandson. Her favorite scripture is: Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."

A Word from RTCA Executive Director Chaplain Craig Wiley
God's Beautiful Creation
Fall is my favorite time of the year. I grew up in Michigan where the outdoor fall colors are spectacular. I enjoy the crisp cool morning breezes of fall and the bright sunny October Saturdays to enjoy my favorite college football team. Horses love the cool fall weather too. You can see a difference in their step. I enjoy watching my own horses jump and shake and let loose in the open field as their mane and tail lift high as they breeze by. The scripture says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands" Psalms 19:1. Yes, the fall skies have bright full moons and clear starry nights. God impresses us every day by his creation, and we have another opportunity to grow closer to him, because he reaches out to us in such a marvelous way. Take the time to be still before the Lord and receive him into your heart and mind and "the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."Philippians 4:7 Chaplain Craig Wiley
