Who? What do you mean "who"??....Your MOM, that's who. Don't you remember her telling you "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"? Well, if you don't remember, my Mom said it enough for ALL of us, she had to,......there were 6 of us! LOL!
Many of you all follow the Natural Girls Rock Movement on our Facebook fan page, right? As our numbers have increased, so have the negative comments and downright bashing of each other. Now, in all fairness, we are all communicating from our computers and cell phones and will more than likely NEVER meet the person whose photo we are commenting on, BUT, on the other hand some folks are clearly saying things that would be considered extremely rude in person and can be very hurtful. Now, of course, you are not going to like everyone's photo or agree with all the content on any given page (not just NGR) but, let's try to be pleasant and uplift each other and keep this Sisterhood strong and moving forward on a positive note...(pretty please with sugar on top). :)
My message to YOU this month is....Social Media is a beautiful thing! It allows you to tap in or out and be as involved as you want or not involved at all. You can surf 24 hours a day, anywhere in the world and find something interesting to comment on. It's important to realize though that although it's a computer, there is a real person on the other side that has feelings you may be hurting. Not to sound like my Mom OR yours BUT, If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. #HURTFUL #RUDE #UGLY
