Natural Girls Rock has been so inspired by reading the responses to the blog nominations and reading through the blogs, we have decided to join in on the fun.
Our blog, "Natural Thoughts" will be structured as an open conversation among "curlfriends" about various topics that come to my mind, naturally....thus "Natural Thoughts". The "Natural Thoughts" blog will be on the Natural Girls Rock website at the bottom of the page under "Recent News".. Comments are welcome and encouraged. I am been approached by several ladies of other cultures lately that compliment me on my hair. I politely thank them for kind words but I must say it always leaves be thinking...hmm. It makes me think about when my husband and I traveled to Jamaica last year to attend a wedding and we saw tons of woman, and girls for that matter, paying the locals to cornrow the front of their hair. They even put beads on the ends , the way our mothers did our hair back in the day. Is this natural hair "movement" taken over to the point that woman of other races/nationalities/ethnic groups want our look?
