Higher FUTA Taxes for NJ & PA Employers 
 
New Jersey and Pennsylvania Employers are facing higher unemployment taxes under the Federal Unemployment Tax Act (FUTA) because of loans the states received from the federal government to pay unemployment insurance benefits.

  • Partner Jim Rogers gave a speech at the Minority Contractor Training Program in Philadelphia, PA. He also just spoke to students at Camden County Technical School in Pennsauken, NJ about pursuing careers in accounting.
  • Manager Dave Gill was elected treasurer of the Rotary Club of Philadelphia. He also received his Masters degree in Taxation and Financial Planning from Widener University.
  • Managers Dave Gill and Sue Hunt, spoke at the PICPA Emerging CPA Conference in Lancaster, PA.
  • Senior Staff Accountant Cris Sefransky obtained his CFE designation. CFE stands for Certified Fraud Examiner. The designation is issued by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
