Recent Releases from Camile Baudoin and Jesse Moore

Camile Baudoin: For 33 years, Camile Baudoin has laid down the "law of the fish" as guitarist for the epic New Orleans rock band, The Radiators.  In this first solo recording Camile unplugs and explores his roots with acoustic performances of the songs he grew up singing with his family and in his uncles' band, The Dufrene Brothers.  Check out this great feature on Camile in Offbeat and buy the CD now at CD Baby, Louisiana Music Factory or Amazon

Jesse Moore: We recently released the latest project from musician/actor Jesse Moore. The new CD, his second on Threadhead Records, initially projected to be an original work with a full band, has morphed into a live, solo recording comprised mostly of original songs, both old and new. Buy it now at Jesse Moore.com, CD Baby, Louisiana Music Factory, and iTunes.

Featured Project:  Alexandra Scott

We are extremely excited to announce a new partnership with Alexandra Scott.  According to Paul Sanchez, "Alexandra's songs are sad and literate and hopefully hopeless." And she has really captured the essence of her New Orleans experience in her own words below.

"New Orleans is the place to which I was always coming. I've been fascinated with it since I was a child. As a kid, I'd cook red beans and rice, and when I was in college I used to order coffee from Cafe du Monde. My mom took me to hear a lot of zydeco when I was very young; I was a big Beausoleil fan. Right before graduating from college I took a trip here with my best friend and went to the Saturn Bar. The guy I was seeing at the time had told me it was the coolest bar in the world. Our taxi driver didn't want to take us there; he said it was no place for two young girls, but I loved it regardless.Read more of Alexandra's story or contribute to the cause...
