VCS Spring Picnic

April 30

Race to the Top News

VCS Ohio was awarded federal Race to the Top (RTTT) grant funding to improve teacher effectiveness and student performance. One of the ways we are utilizing this funding is by implementing team leaders and specialists among the teaching staff to educate their peers on valuable supplemental software and classroom tools. Team leaders and specialists have provided in-person training and created a library of tutorials that can be accessed anytime. Watch for more details about how VCS Ohio is using RTTT funds.

Greetings!

Jim McCord

The sun is shining and birds are chirping...at least for now! I'm hopeful spring is here for good, but you never know with Ohio weather. I hope you enjoyed spring break last week. We are now in the home stretch of this school year. I encourage you to keep working hard in your classes and finish strong. If you have any questions or concerns about your schoolwork, don't hesitate to contact your teacher. They are ready and willing to help you succeed!
