... Jordan D'Aurio '12 who has been selected to play in the Class S/Class M Senior All Star Softball Game on June 11 at the North Haven Athletic Complex. She joins 39 other seniors from across the state in receiving for this honor. As a senior captain, she batted .402 with 29 RBI's and 16 runs scored with a fielding percentage of .940. She was named to the 2011 and 2012 All Patriot Division team and was the Notre Dame team MVP.
... Tanaya Wade '15 who came in 6th in the 100 meter at the State meet earning her All State honors in Class S and qualifying her for the State Open.

Campus Ministry Sponsors Field Day
Last week, Notre Dame students helped run a successful field day at Tisdale Elementary School in Bridgeport. There were over 20 different activities that our students ran, including a moon bounce, kick ball, parachute game, sack race, obstacle course, relay race and dodge ball game. It was a fun day had by all. Connecticut Geography Challenge
Notre Dame participated in the 2011 Connecticut Geography Challenge at the University of Connecticut on May 23. With faculty chaperone Mr. Dicks, and organized by Michael Lenard '13, the ND team, consisting of Michael, Brendan Wardlow '13, Katie Adams '13, and Kayla Choothesa '13, finished sixth amongst the thirteen teams. Congratulations!

Senior Experience Program Concluding
The 23 ND seniors who participated in the inaugural Senior Experience Program are concluding their four week, 120 hour internships today. We have heard nothing but outstanding stories coming from our students and their mentors. These students will be participating in a Senior Experience Fair on Wednesday, June 6 from 9:00 - 10:00 am in the Notre Dame cafeteria. Please come to see what great work these students have accomplished! All are invited.

Senior final exams have begun. Underclassmen will begin taking exams on Thursday, June 7. Families are reminded that all 2011-12 financial obligations must be complete before students may take exams.

Love Life Basketball Tournament
The Love Life Basketball Tournament is looking for teams and/or sponsors for their upcoming event which will be held from June 29 - July 1 at the Sacred Heart University Pitt Center. Notre Dame High School has been designated as one of the recipients of the proceeds from this event. The proceeds which we receive will be directly used for Notre Dame student scholarships.

The Notre Dame Bookstore now has the final sale prices of the year on uniforms and sweatshirts - current stock of Polo Shirts are now $20.00, Uniform Sweaters are now $30.00 (Navy Blue in most sizes, Natural in Large & XL only), Uniform Fleeces (Medium & XL only) are just $30.00. Also available are ND Hooded Sweatshirts for $25.00 and Crew Sweatshirts for just $15.00 - both available in Navy and Gray. Quantities and sizes are limited. Items will be on sale until June 15. Football
The Football Team will be holding a car wash at Notre Dame on Saturday, June 9 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Money raised will be used for program costs, such as new field equipment and team t-shirts.
There will be a mandatory team meeting for all students who intend on playing football in the fall on Monday, June 4 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in room 305.

Golf Is Right Around the Corner ...
The Notre Dame Bob Shea Memorial Golf Tournament will take place in four short weeks on Monday, June 25 at the Redding Country Club. Our tournament was a great success last year with over 100 players and we are quickly filling up spots for this year's event. 2012-13 Tuition Agreements
Please remember to return your signed 2012-13 tuition agreement with your May or June tuition payment. Also, remember that there is a $200 tuition discount for tuition paid in full by June 15, 2012 (as long as scholarships/financial aid total less than $2,500).
