Art Club Visits SHU Art Gallery
On Tuesday, members of the ND Art Club visited the SHU Art Gallery. Sophia Gevas, Gallery Director, introduced the exhibit - 39 Polish Posters that emphasized Polish "street life" in the 1970s and 1980s. The posters originally functioned as "town criers" as well as works of art. They energized Polish citizens during harsh communistic times and also informed them about cultural events.
The Art Club meets every Tuesday afternoon in rooms 302A and 304B. All are welcome to join!
