Leaving on the late shift Sunday night, a group of Notre Dame students boarded a coach bus and drove through the early morning hours to Washington, DC to attend the March for Life on Monday, January 23. The event, which was attended by over 100,000 people from all over the country, began with a Youth Rally and Mass at the DC Armory. Afterwards, students took a brisk walk in cold and damp conditions to the march route then made their way to the Supreme Court building. Along the way, they met Bishop Lori and posed for a quick picture. It was at the Supreme Court building in January, 1972 that the Roe v. Wade decision to legalize abortion took place. It was a peaceful march and despite being very cold and very tired, the students had lots of fun. Students who attended the March were Morgan Sweeney '15, Caitlin Lonergan '15, Nick Dupuis '12, Tori Samatulski '15, Megan Gless '14, Megan Pace '12, Mary Boyle '12, Jillian Gelmetti '14, Jacqueline Rzasa '12, Rachel Dorosh '12, Ashley Fulton '13, Connor Terry '12, Molly Verderame '12, Jordan D'Aurio '12, Geissy Bitencourt '12, Mary Kate Vicenzi '12, Michael Foster '12, Patrick Phelan '12, Brianna Foster '14, Jessica Ramos '13 and Shannan Williams '14. |

The art classes and computer classes participated in a Man vs. Machine competition. Students in Mr. Testani's art classes were asked to take a painting from the Renaisance era, The School of Athens by Raphael, and divide the image into sections for each student to paint individually. Students in Mr. Manzo's computer classes were asked to do the same using Photoshop. The result is hanging in the hallway near the computer lab (203) where there is information on each piece with a chart that identifies each student who completed an area of the image.

ND has the opportunity to earn cash through Stop & Shop's A+ School Rewards Program. All you have to do is click here or call (877) 275-2758 to register your card.
After you register your card, each shopping trip at Stop & Shop using your Stop & Shop Card earns cash for our school! You can track the amount of points you earn for our school by checking your grocery receipt and online when you create an account at www.stopandshop.com.
