On Monday, December 13, Ryan Jacob '13  and Philip DiNoto '13 both received individual awards for recognition of their dedication to service to others.
Ryan received the Golden Whistle award from the Norwalk Junior Soccer Association head of referee for going above and beyond the required expectation to perform his support role as a referee. Ryan was acknowledged for taking the time to give both quality feedback to players as well as training to individuals in their formative years as soccer players during game time.  Ryan's willingness to engage in helpful support makes a difference to those players who may be striving to improve and could otherwise easily give up.
Philip was presented with an award of recognition for 6 years of dedicated mentor time with the TOPSoccer program for NJSA. Philip has devoted the past 6  years not only providing mentor support to players with special neeeds, but also as a mentor to new volunteers who join TOPSoccer and are new to the role of a mentor. Philip has had a perfect attendance to TOPSoccer throughout his service time.

Both Ryan and Philip are to be commended for their dedication to making a commitment to service for an organization.
