Drama Club Attends Broadway Show and Workshop
On Wednesday, November 10, members of Notre Dame's Drama Club took the train to New York City to see the Toni Award winning play, Billy Elliot.
Before the show, students had the opportunity to take a Broadway Workshop given by members of the cast of Billy Elliot. During the 90 minute workshop, students learned a song from the show as well as a choreographed dance routine. This was a great way for students to learn first-hand about performing in a musical on Broadway. Students who took part in the annual trip were Corinna Santos '12, Nick Pond '14, Kelsey Senteio '12, Aly Furgiuele '13, Scott Barrese '12, Daniel Murphy '13, Joseph Gomolson '13, Medjine Jean Jacques '12, Caitlin Bonefant '11, Jessica Harper '11, Michael Lenard '13, Christine Blanchard '13, Megan Riobo '13, Amy Pagliaro '13, and Kaitlyn Orce '13. A special thanks to parent chaperones, Mrs. Pagliaro and Mrs. Murphy. |
